Founded in 2016, Humming Cup was born from a deep passion for slowing down, prioritizing wellness, and enjoying life's quiet moments. We exist to inspire more time for self-love, reflection, and connection—through the ritual of sipping truly high-quality tea.

Our founder, Jazeera, grew up in Kazakhstan, where tea isn’t just a drink—it’s a symbol of hospitality and togetherness. When she moved to the United States, she noticed fast-paced lives, growing stress, and very little time for self-care.

She also realized that most teas on the market were low-quality—typically in cheap tea bags, containing artificial flavors, and lacking any real health benefits.

Jazeera decided to change that.

She studied to become a certified tea sommelier in New York and partnered with ethical suppliers from around the world—Egypt, Bulgaria, France, Turkey, China, and beyond—to source the finest premium loose-leaf teas. Every tea at Humming Cup is carefully curated in small batches, with no pesticides, no artificial colors or flavors, and always with your wellness in mind.

To make tea time easy and enjoyable, we also offer our premium loose teas in pyramid-shaped biodegradable sachets—never plastic—so they’re safe for you and for the planet.
